These days it feels as though we wake up each day on the brink of something. World War III. Hope and change. A Tipping point in democracy. Or, a tipping point in a U.S. civil war.

Iran, Israel, USA, and almost every single nation in the world remains on edge as bombs fall, drones fly, and victims respond with hatred and fear of their attackers. Their invaders.

Let’s make a super short list of the attackers and invaders. The Israeli military? The ICE agents in L.A.? The madmen carrying out attempted political assassinations? Hamas? Hezbollah? Some incel who blames women for loneliness? What about the murders of Amazon activists wanting to save forests?

Let’s not let Putin off the hook, either.

Here is the truth. Even though we are not at Hitler, nor Hiroshima, levels of mass killings and state sponsored destruction, we vacillate about on a razor’s edge. We feel quite genocide adjacent.
